Dual Wire Two Operator Monitor
Designed for use with dual wire wrist strap systems. Independently measures the resistance of both side of the band for two separate operators and ground. LED pass/fail indicators and audible alarm. A fix resistor go-no-go system, no calibration needed.
Overview
Botron’s Dual Wire Continuous Monitors are designed for dual wire wrist strap applications and monitor resistance of both the work surface and the operator. The come with a LED and a built-in audible alarm, triggered when either the operator or work surface falls out of spec, becomes disconnected, or ground is lost. These units can only be used with mono jack 3.5mm connectors. It is a fixed resistor system and is go/no-go, there is no calibration needed.
Resistance Measurement
Resistive-based systems are more true than capacitive and can measure the functional resistance of the ESD Wrist Strap.
Two is Better Than One
Supports 2 operators via 3.5mm Dual Wire ESD Wrist Strap connections, 1 each per remote box.
ESD Mat Monitoring
Monitors 1 ESD Mat ground plane.
Sound the Alarms
Visual and audible alarms trigger on grounding or mat connection loss, short, or open (high resistance).
