Dual Wire One Operator Monitor
Designed for use with dual wire wrist strap systems. Independently measures the resistance of both side of the band for one operator and ground. LED pass/fail indicators and audible alarm. A fix resistor go-no-go system, no calibration needed.
Overview
Botron’s Dual Wire Continuous Monitors are designed for dual wire wrist strap applications and monitor resistance of both the work surface and the operator. The come with a LED and a built-in audible alarm, triggered when either the operator or work surface falls out of spec, becomes disconnected, or ground is lost. These units can only be used with mono jack 3.5mm connectors. It is a fixed resistor system and is go/no-go, there is no calibration needed.
Resistance Measurement
Resistive-based systems are more true than capacitive and can measure the functional resistance of the ESD Wrist Strap.
Single Operator
Supports 1 operator via 3.5mm Dual Wire ESD Wrist Strap connection.
ESD Mat Monitoring
Monitors 1 ESD Mat ground plane.
Sound the Alarms
Alarms when grounding or mat connection is lost, shorted, or open.
