Note*
Botron recommends, in accordance with ANSI/ESD S20.20, to test all personal grounding prior to entering an ESDS work environment. It is important to make sure all personal grounding equipment, including smocks, wrist straps systems, footwear and heel grounders do not exceed ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements.
Calibration of all test equipment is an integral part to all ESD control programs. S20.20 7.3 suggests that a verification regimen shall be established and measurements are to be taken and documented to assure compliance with technical requirements.
