Touchplate Combo Wrist Strap and Footwear Tester
Botron’s Touchplate Combo Wrist Strap and Footwear Tester is a wall mountable, high quality battery operated tester with a large touch plate for easy testing and easy to read LEDs that show low, high and pass. Audible alarm will sound when failing. A slide switch on top of the tester selects either 10 MegaOhm for wrist straps or 100 MegaOhm for footwear.
Overview
Testing ESD Wrist Straps and ESD Footwear prior to entry on the fab floor, or ESD Protected Area is a simple, yet very effective means towards becoming ESD compliant and establishing proper ESD controls. This is a no-frills, “go-no-go” type tester. Meaning, you get either a green or red indicator upon passing or failing, respectfully. It is battery operated and the trimpot calibration make the lifetime overhead of this tester a cost effective choice.
Audible Alerts
Piezo alerts trigger on low failures and high failures.
Stainless Steel Touchplate
The large, machine curled, stainless steel touchplate provides not just a great surface area for contact, but also nice tactile feedback for the operator during test.
Bright Lights
3 LED bulbs, placed directly over the test switch, illuminate green (for pass) and red (for high and low failures) for instant feedback to the operator.
Long Range
Calibrated to 750k ohms low and 10M high.
Durable Footplate
Test footwear up to 100M ohms with the optional accompanying footplate.
Wall Mountable
Option this tester out with a wall mount kit to conveniently secure it to the wall before you entry point.
Steel Test Stand
No wall? No Problem! The steel pedestal mounts directly to the footplate giving you the freedom to mount the tester anywhere you see fit.
Cable Control
Cable pass-throughs at the top and bottom of the pedestal keep cables and wire management tidy.
