Dual Wire Coil Cord
Botron’s Dual Wire Coil Cords are designed for use with resistive based ESD wrist bands. Two conductors are provided with 1M Ohm resistors in each head providing not only a parallel path to ground but additional precaution against single point failure. It’s non-tangle and high retention coil make these a great choice for a hassle free and extremely reliable path to ground.
Overview
Designed to the same standards as our Long Life Coil Cords, Botron's Dual Wire variant is built to withstand the labors of the work environment. The two conductors provide a resistance equivalent of 500k Ohms path to ground, discharging static-electric buildup on personnel better than single wire coil cords.
Two is Better than One
A single coil, dual conductor cord with 1M Ohm resistors molded into the head of each adapter provide the best ESD compliant discharge path for personnel.
Dual End Strain Relief
Both the banana and snap terminations of the coil cord are built with superior strain relief, designed to reduce torque on monitors inputs — as well as extend the life of the cord.
Elephant Like Memory
Every cord is coiled and heated to form their spring like look, immediately after they are reverse spun to create superior — market leading coil memory.
Plugged In
The 3.5mm jack has two isolated conductors, in combination providing a parallel path to ground for the operator.
