RMA Policy

Botron will happily issue an RMA for equipment defective on arrival (DOA). You must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Form from our RMA department. Once you have filled this out in entirety please send the form back to obtain your RMA number.

Standard Replacement
Once you have completed the request for RMA and have received an RMA number from our Botron Service Agent you may then send the equipment back to Botron.

Upon receipt of the defective product, Botron will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the product and ship it back to you. Subject to availability, the replacement product will be shipped within 1-3 business days following repair of the defective product.

Warranty Replacement
All equipment is subject to Botron’s standard warranty policy. Please see the warranty terms and conditions of the equipment for more information.

Once you have completed the request for RMA and have received an RMA number from our RMA department you may then send the equipment back to Botron.

Warrantied equipment, upon receipt, is subject to inspection for damage as a result of accident, abuse, misuse, natural or personal disaster, or any unauthorized disassemble, repair or modification. Once the inspection is completed with no conditional impairments such as the above listed, Botron will, at its discretion, repair or replace the equipment and ship it back to you within 1-3 business days of completion.

Calibration
Once you have completed the request for RMA and have received an RMA number from our RMA department you may then send the equipment back to Botron.

Upon receipt of the device, subject to inspection, If it is determined there is no mechanical damage impairing calibration, Botron will Calibrate the device. Once completed we will send the device back with new certification.

If it is determined that repairs are needed to calibrate the device, Botron will contact you with an invoice for the repairs. Once fees are paid, Botron will make the repairs necessary, calibrate the device and send it back with new certification.

Cross Shipment
In the event the replacement product is needed immediately, a Cross Shipment option is available. Botron reserves the right to accept or decline cross shipment availability.

Requesting this option implies that you, the customer, has the defective part and will ship them back to Botron within 10 calendar days of receipt of the replacement product.

As the customer, you will be asked to secure the replacement product by providing a credit card. There will be a 10-day hold or charge placed on the card equal to the list price of the item being shipped. In the event the product is unable to be returned on or before the due date, the credit card will be charged for the non-returned product. Once the defective product is returned, a credit or refund will be issued within 3 business days of receipt, subject to inspection. Subject to availability, Botron will ship product within 1-3 days the RMA is generated, unless emergency shipment is requested.

After Obtaining an RMA Number

After obtaining an RMA number from Botron, you must send the equipment – freight prepaid – to Botron Company, Inc. The Botron RMA number must be prominently displayed on the outside of your package. If you send your equipment to Botron without the RMA number prominently displayed on the outside of the package, it will be returned to you unopened.

Please use a shipping company that can demonstrate proof of delivery. Botron does not accept responsibility for any lost shipments unless proof of delivery to Botron is provided.
Please note:
Return shipment address is listed on the RMA form.
Equipment shipped to Botron must be properly packaged to prevent loss or damage in transit.

Shipping your RMA to Botron using regular mailing envelopes is not acceptable, as they do not protect the product from damage during shipping.

Botron will not repair or replace a module that is shipped in such a way that the product is not properly protected.

Botron will not accept any product that has been damaged as a result of accident, abuse, misuse, natural or personal disaster, or any unauthorized disassemble, repair or modification.

RMA ID Reader Request For ELITE Test Systems

The purchase of ELITE Test Equipment may require customer supplied goods to be sent to Botron; such as ID readers and ID cards.

In this event we issue an ID Reader Request Form, you will need to complete the form and submit it to your Botron service agent. You will also need to include a copy of the completed form in your shipment package. Please refer to “After Obtaining an RMA Number” for our policy on shipping goods to Botron.

We will issue an RMA number once the form has been returned and approved. Upon approval, an RMA number will be issued to you including confirmation to authorize the shipment of goods to Botron.

In some cases, Botron may need extended time to properly inspect the ID cards and or reader. A Botron Service Agent will notify you if more time is needed. Botron cannot guarantee that all ID cards and readers work with ELITE Test Equipment.

Trademarks & Copyrights

Our policy on trademarks and copyrights extends to licensees, authorized resellers, brand representatives, developers, and any other 3rd party wishing to use Botron trademarks, service marks, logos marks, photography, graphics and imagery in promotional, advertising, instructional, educational, reference materials, web domains and websites, products, packaging, and labels. The use of the Botron logo without prior written consent may constitute trademark infringement in violation of federal and state law. The use of Botron trademarks may be prohibited, without explicit authorization.

If you are an authorized licensee our trademark or logo may have come with guidelines on usage, please follow them. If you do not have these guidelines continue reading our guidelines and policy.

Botron trademarks, logo marks, service marks, trade names and trade dress are important assets to the value of the brand. The following guidelines are intended to strengthen our branding and corporate identity. Using a Botron trademark, in whole or in part, implies that you acknowledge Botron is the sole owner of the trademark and you will not interfere with the registration of the mark, disrupt, challenge, or apply for registration alone or in combination with other words, anywhere in the world, nor bring harm, misuse, or blemish publically or online any Botron trademark. Except for the limited rights prohibited in these guidelines, no other rights of any kind are granted hereunder.

Logo Mark
Botron logo mark may only be used by authorized resellers and licensees. For example:

Authorized Brand Representatives
Authorized Service Providers

The use of Botron logo mark may be used in sales, marketing and promotional materials. Application of the Botron logo mark must be in accordance with Guidelines specified in your agreement. The Botron logo mark may not be altered in any way or deviate from the specification of the Guidelines.

Word Mark
The use of Botron work marks such Botron, Botron Company Inc., Botron Static Control, and other Botron word marks, excluding the Botron logo mark, may be used as the object of a prepositional phrase on packaging, advertising/marketing and promotional materials to illustrate products or services are compatible with Botron products or technology, and must comply with the following restrictions.

The Botron word mark is not part of the product name or description.
It is used in a phrase with a preposition such as “powered by”, “compatible with”, “for”, or “runs on.”
Is made less prominent than the product name.
Does not imply a false sense of endorsement or association with Botron or Botron products.
Cannot be interpreted to show Botron or its products in a negative manor.

The Botron logo mark, word marks, graphics and other trademarks, may not be used without written consent for commercial, social engagements, on or in publication or related materials. Use of the Botron logo mark in such mediums and applications must include a disclaimer of sponsorship, affiliation and endorsement. This disclaimer must clearly dissociate Botron from the (Title) by using “independent” and “has not been” endorsed, sponsored or approved by Botron.

The Botron logo mark, word marks, graphics and other trademarks, may not be used without written consent for commercial, social engagements, on or in publication or related materials. Use of the Botron logo mark in such mediums and applications must include a disclaimer of sponsorship, affiliation and endorsement. This disclaimer must clearly dissociate Botron from the (Title) by using “independent” and “has not been” endorsed, sponsored or approved by Botron.

Websites, Storefronts and Retail are strictly prohibited using the Botron in manor that may indicate or infringe on the market and services associate with Botron.

In no event are does Botron authorize the use of abbreviated, take-offs, or variants of its trademarks.

You may not use Botron trademarks, trade dress, logo marks and word marks in a derogatory or disparaging application.

You may not use Botron trademarks for merchandise with express written consent from Botron.

You may not copy, or imitate Botron trade dress, logos, website design, graphic design and typeface.

You may not use Botron as part of a second level domain. Such as:
botron-esd.com, elite-esd.com, botronelite.com

Usage In the United States
Use of any Botron trademarks must include the appropriate trademark symbol (™, ®, SM).

Use of a Botron trademark must include attribution:

Usage outside the United States
Do not use trademark symbols outside of the US.

It is our aim to make every touch pleasant and productive. All sales team members go through technical ESD training as well as product and application use cases, building the knowledge to quickly respond to any questions you may have. Closing a sale is not our endgame—assisting you in choosing smart solutions for your program, application(s), budget, and development plan is.

When interacting with Botron you should feel fulfilled and that you’ve made the right choice.

Authorized Brand Reps
To provide exceptional service to the industry, more so you as our customer, Botron maintains a network of authorized Brand Representatives.

Brand Reps from time to time are available for on-site visits. Botron and the Brand Rep exclusively reserve the right to schedule on-site visits within a reasonable time. You can expect from our Brand Representatives knowledgeable ESD savvy that can assist in S20.20 compliance, EPA audits, product selection and education, and in some situations training and technical support.

Botron does not warranty any claims made by authorized Brand Reps, unless documented in our terms of service. Botron is also not responsible for an damages that could incur. Authorized Brand Reps are not employees of Botron Company Inc,.

We are dedicated to providing top notch service, if you have experienced anything less please contact Botron at your earliest convenience. Botron reserves the right to fully investigate and collect information prudent to the claim(s) in a reasonable and timely manner.

Authorized Reseller Partners
Botron is committed to providing coverage and accessibility to our entire product offering. We believe providing the customer with a full solution for their individual needs is to important to an exceptional experience. In many cases a reseller may not advertise or feature the Botron product line in its entirety. In the event you do not have access to a product offered by Botron with an authorized reseller, you may request availability directly with the reseller the procurement of your of the product(s).

We expect our authorized partners to uphold Botron specific product request to procure to you, the customer, Botron genuine branded products.

Botron does not warranty any claims made by an authorized reseller. When you purchase Botron products from an authorized reseller it is important you read and carefully follow their terms of service, sales and return policies. If they do not have accessible documentation of these policies Botron strongly recommends you request them.

We work with partners we feel best align with our philosophy to providing exceptional service and expertise. In any event you experience anything less you may file grievance directly with Botron by phone or through our internet portal. If in the event your reseller refuses to warranty or redress your grievance you may contact Botron directly if:

  • You file directly with Botron within 14 days of purchase.
  • Your Purchase was made from an authorized reseller within the United States.
  • You can provide a valid receipt of purchase containing resellers name and address, product sku, description, quantity and price.
  • Delivery confirmation receipt.

We will work closely with your authorized reseller to accommodate your grievance or request. However, we cannot guarantee the outcome.
