The ELITE, using Variable Test Resistance technology, is the most accurate tester on the market. Each unit is embedded with our VTR software calibration system that reads to the thousandth decimal of a resistance decade. That means no screw drivers, dip switches or default test to get within OEM spec. In the end the bottom line is that the ELITE saves you time. VTR allows us to simply flash each ELITE to spec. No more sending testers back to the manufacturer and having to pull out some back up tester while you wait for what can be weeks. The ELITE brings an end to down time.
All ELITE models come standard with a 128×64 back lit LCD. That’s about 3 times larger than any other tester in the industry. With a larger LCD the ELITE can display comfortably, the date, time, relative humidity, temperature, and most importantly the actual test resistance for wrist straps and both right and left feet on screen.
The ELITE doesn’t stop there, however. Test results are displayed with a visual threshold graph that informs the worker of where their results time in the allowable test parameters.
One of the many draw backs of “on-demand” testers is really not knowing for certain the factory calibration settings. With the ELITE and it’s VTR technology you do not have to refer to the data spec sheet. Whether you are auditor, supervisor, or metrology the ELITE will display calibration specifications and custom test parameters on screen.

The ELITE’s LED system makes things simple. Other testers use yellow as a fail hi and fail low. This practice is old and doesn’t make much sense in our society. The idea of the ELITE is prevention, this old system found in other testers does not accommodate failure prevention. With the same common idea we see with stop lights the LED’s built into the ELITE illuminate red, green and yellow.
Another big problem found in older systems is the exposed LED. One, it’s merely a bulb. Two, in a well light work environment it’s hard to tell if the bulb is lit and whether bulbs that shouldn’t be lit are lit. The first thing you have to look at with the ELITE is its large feet and wrist strap LED diffusers. There is no confusion when these light up.
The ELITE works smarter not harder. The older systems you see on the market use in many cases 9 LED lights. The ELITE totals 3 with the use of multi colored LED technology. What this means is there is less to confuse and operates more economical.
A quicker test mean no employee bottle necking at the test area. The older systems you see currently are becoming rapidly inefficient. With multiple components and outdated technologies employees will be building up in line while the ELITE processes results in virtually real time, less than 1 second.
The bottom line of using a solid state test surface is reliability. Along with its consistent accuracy and speed the fact that it has no moving parts means it doesn’t break down. Mechanical button and switch operating testers however, do wear and break over time.
